Christmas Eve Service

Every Advent, we light candles, sing carols, and pray for Christ’s coming because we believe God entered a frightened world to bring good news. We hold onto hope because we believe that Christ did incarnate among us. Our hope is not flimsy or fleeting. It’s gritty, resilient, and able to endure, no matter what we fear or face. This Advent, let us insist on hope and trust that good news is greater than fear. Join us as we hold hope and fear together and wait for God’s good news to break through once again. On Christmas Eve we gather for a service of lessons and carols as we celebrate the birth of Jesus.

Longest Night Service: A Vigil For Hope

Each year we gather on or close to the longest night of the year to make space for those experiencing grief in its many forms during the Advent and Christmas season. This year, we will make space for difficult emotions during the holiday season, particularly surrounding the fears present in the world, our city, and our own lives. Join us as we keep vigil for hope on the longest night.

Children’s Advent Service

Our annual Children’s Advent service is an intergenerational celebration of joy and playfulness as our youth lead us in preparing for the birth of Jesus through music, storytelling, and more!

Advent Evening Service

Every Advent, we light candles, sing carols, and pray for Christ’s coming because we believe God entered a frightened world to bring good news. We hold onto hope because we believe that Christ did incarnate among us. Our hope is not flimsy or fleeting. It’s gritty, resilient, and able to endure, no matter what we fear or face. This Advent, let us insist on hope and trust that good news is greater than fear. Join us as we hold hope and fear together and wait for God’s good news to break through once again. Our evening Advent services offer a more contemplative atmosphere with music, readings, and time for reflection – space to rest in the promise of Emmanuel, God with us.
