Discipleship at ResCov
There is little that is more intimate for Christians than to grow deeper in Christ, to be filled with the Spirit and heed God’s calling on our lives. The Apostle Paul exhorts the Early Church to “pursue love and strive for the spiritual gifts” (1 Corinthians 14:1); these instructions have not lost their relevance in our ever-changing world. At ResCov, these pursuits are undertaken together, in community, spurring one another on through our faith journeys, and challenging us all to express God’s love, kindness, mercy, and justice in many ways.
Discipleship is encouraged through ministries of formation, including small groups and our children’s ministry. Along with our regular times of worship, these experiences allow time and space to form the deep and lasting relationships that make it possible to journey together through lives lived in pursuit of Jesus Christ. We invite all who would call ResCov part of their community to join us in these ministries.
