Partners in Mission

At ResCov we desire to be actively engaged in seeking God’s justice on earth as it is in heaven. While never complete or perfect, we step out in faith, knowing that we are workers in God’s kingdom. We also know that we can not do it alone. So we are constantly seeking partners with whom we can live out lives of justice. These are some of our current partners on the journey.

Bread for the World

Bread for the World is a collective Christian voice urging our nation’s decision makers to end hunger at home and abroad. By changing policies, programs, and conditions that allow hunger and poverty to persist, the members of Bread for the World provide help and opportunity far beyond the communities in which we live.

Lakeview Action Coalition

The Lakeview Action Coalition (LAC) is an organization centered in the Lakeview neighborhood comprised of over forty member institutions including churches, banks, hospitals, non-profit organizations, and business associations. The LAC desires a community in which people flourish. To that end, they focus on youth homelessness, affordable housing, and healthcare. ResCov is involved with the homeless youth task force.

The Night Ministry

The Night Ministry connects with Chicago’s vulnerable youth and adults providing basic supplies, self-care supplies, free health care, housing, supportive services, and more. ResCov’s partnership with The Night Minsitry includes preparing supplies for donation as well as volunteering.
